Day 107/365 - It’s unsinkable! on Flickr.
My 100 year ago today, completely ironic Titanic photo - a ship made of ice!

Day 106/365 - Colorful on Flickr.
Despite saying that I’m not down with the flowers, here I am again shooting macros of flowers at the Tulip Festival in Mount Vernon.
Still, they look rather pretty don’t they.
Day 103/365 - Eggs! on Flickr.
Ah Easter- the time of the year where the lawn is covered in multi-colored land mines!
Day 108/365 - Employed Again on Flickr.
Hurray! I’m gainfully employed again! Another testing gig up in Bothell, and the building has this super cool looking facing that I expect I will photograph a whole bunch over the next couple of months or so.
Day 107/365 - Keepin’ it Real (Sugar) on Flickr.
Another desperation shot as the clock rolled on to 11:45 that night and I had no shot of the day. So out comes the macro lens and there’s my can of Blue Sky cola.
There’s hardly any depth of field to it because I was doing it with whatever the desk light would kick out and I had to stop WAAAAY down on it.
Day 106/365 - Willow and Mike on Flickr.
It’s Mike’s annual Birthday Photo, this time with an assist from his kid.
Day 104/365 - The Most Thankless Job Ever on Flickr.
It occurred to me just the other day, after I wound up with a parking ticket (meh, it happens), just how much it much suck to be a Meter Maid. Getting up every morning, day in and day out - nobody is ever happy to see you, people are always freaking out and losing their shit in your face, you get spit on or attacked (and worse), you aren’t a real cop stopping crooks or helping the community and the sole purpose of your existence is to make other people’s day miserable.
How sad it must be to be one of them.
Day 103/365 - The Creme Egg on Flickr.
The best thing about Easter? The Cadbury Creme Eggs! Pity we’re not in the UK where these things A) taste MUCH better and B) are available year ‘round.
Day 102/365 - You cant stop Comfy on Flickr.
Who is Comfy? Beats the hell outta me - but apparently you can’t stop him!
Day 101/365 - Behold! The Eternal! on Flickr.
The other reason for my road trip to Wenatchee - aside from crappy weather in Seattle and the desire to snap that retro sign? Pick up a new series Dalek, exclusive to Hastings Entertainment, and the closest one was some 250 miles away.
God I am such a nerd.
Day 100/365 - Get your 8-Track Player here! on Flickr.
I declare Wenatchee to be the most awesomennest city evar! All of the signs they have around town - the politically incorrect Indian head, the giant hamburger, and the “This is where you go to get your new 13” color television - With Remote!” appliance center.
Seriously - Magnavox? Are they still even around these days? Who cares - the sign is cool!
Day 097/365 - Boat on Flickr.
Under the ship canal bridge. Sadly this was the most photogenic of the lot - there aint much to see under there! Although I did like all the strong, leading lines running throughout.
Day 096/365 - Braving the Wall of Death on Flickr.
I’m not sure what it’s suppose to be, well aside from a Wall of Death. The guy seems largely unconcerned tho… .
Day 095/365 - Enjoying the Ferry on Flickr.
Wait a second, I hear you say. I thought you were done with black and white photos for a little while? It’s spring! Where are all the really cool colors and warm greens?
Easy answer: I only had one roll of Portra, not knowing if I’d like the new film stock or not. While another box is winging it’s way to me, I shot an extra roll of Illford I had hanging about.
