There are two big hotspots for christmas decorations in Seattle, Candycane Lane in the U-District and Olympia Manor just north of home. These were cul-de-sacs that decorated to the nines ever December - or at least they used to.

Over the last few years tho, the decorations have dwindled to a pretty pathetic showing. So my idea of getting some faboo shots went off the rails and I had to settle for Santa in a car.

Here is the Hall of Gold Records at Graceland. Looks pretty impressive, doesn’t it? Now, I’ll point out that I’m *HALF* way down the hall when I took the picture. Yes, turn around and you’ll see the exact same picture going the other way.
